時間差超音波流量計

當超音波在液體中傳播時
液體的流動將使傳播時間產生微小變化
其傳播時間的變化正比於液體的流速

零流量時兩個感測器發射和接收音波所需的時間將會完全相同
液體流動時 逆流方向的音波傳輸時間
將大於順流方向的音波傳輸時間
因此稱之為時間差式量測
